Welcome
Horror Authors United is an original
e-zine-turned-print magazine. The magazine is the size of a digest (6x9), within
the pages writers are asked to submit their tales. This magazine is purely for
the love right now, but down the road we might be able to pay authors for their
tales. Our goal is to promote the tales of unpublished and unnoticed writers.
So, please if you have a story and wish to see it in our pages, submit it. Check
out our guidelines section. We are working with CreateSpace right now, so the
magazine prices will stay the same but we'll have better marketing and we'll be
available through Amazon.com, as well as this website.
At the moment, we are waiting for CreateSpace to clear our
three magazines, so the links will be down until they are accepted. The first 2
are still available through Lulu.com for the time being.
Thank you.

Open Call!
Well, due to the mild, yet unrelenting success of our first two issues of the HAU
magazine. I would like to announce that we are holding an open call for all
pieces for the October and November issues. There isn't a theme as of right
now. We were on hiatus due to lack of funding and marketing, but now we are
back and we hope this will be a quite permanent magazine
Upcoming Book!
There is some word going around right now, that HAU will be putting out
an Anthology at the end of 2008. It will contain what most magazines
will not print. The darkest and most depraved stories, also the most
erotic and deadly stories to ever come from the nightmarish minds of the
HAU.
No real details yet, but we will accept stories being sent to us with
"R.I.P" in the subject line. The anthology is called "Rot In Pieces" (
Rotten Pieces) and will be out when we reach our critical mass. The
anthology, a heavy volume will rank in at about 400 pages and fetch a
hefty $25 for the special edition hard cover and about $15.99 for the
paperback. But that is counting our chickens, saying we will weigh in at
400, we might fall short, and we may even bypass 400 and head into 500
page territory.
We hope to see pieces from very many of you.
We will post a cover when we get more details.
Thank you,
Matthew J. Leverton
